I'm Back...for the moment anyway!

I finally got around to taking a photography workshop last weekend!!
Thank you Travis @ SouthEast Travel Adventures for all of your help and wisdom!
Learned a lot!! I am making flash cards for all of my notes.

My pictures are improving! Yeah!! I can shoot in manual now and they're getting better!!
Most of my pictures are taken at ball fields. Baseball and Lacrosse. I did have the pleasure of taking Graduation
announcement pictures for my dear friend's daughter. I'll post after I have her sign something! :)
It's easy to take good pictures when your subject is so photogenic!

So... trying to figure out how to manage the logistics hell that is my life!! Too many games and practices overlapping
times and different parks! Need a clone or 2! Thankfully the husband is around more these days since he moved his office across the street from our house. Woohoo!! I think he wants me to work for him some? Not too sure about that...

I am all over the place today. As for my "End of a Friendship" post. It was the end almost. We are on speaking terms and have even gotten together with the kids. Lots of water under that bridge. It will never be the same but it's still good. We're gonna be fine!

Oh yeah! The picture is #1 son doing his new lacrosse thing! it's our first season and I think we're all hooked!!

I LOVE my Nikon!!

So, lately I've been obsessed with taking pictures, mostly of my boys or my garden and my flowers! Although anything that stands still and catches my eye is fair game. I have also spent way too much time looking at other photographers work on their websites. I am getting some of the most amazing ideas!! Now if I just had a sitter, to go with me, to watch the baby, so I could play with my camera and lighting! What JOY! I also need a maid. Taking pictures and learning to crop and edit are way more exciting than laundry and vacuuming!! I'm off to learn what all of these buttons on the camera do and to find out just what an F stop is!! Yippee!!!
